At Victoria Woodworkers, we love taking on big challenges. Commercial carpentry projects are some of our favorite projects to work on for our rough carpenters and joisters.
Our team of rough carpenters will come in and build out the framing, formwork, roofing and other structural work. Once the walls and roof are in place the Joister comes in. Their role is the laying of floor joists. From there a floor surface is fixed.
At that point, we turn the project back to other trades who will come in and complete various components of the build. If trim carpenters are required, then we’ll come back to produce the finished look.

Commercial carpenters work at larger construction sites, building structures such as schools and churches. They are also found on sites of hospitals and even bridges to name just a few. Residential carpentry is about building houses and smaller structures.
